Cue dramatic music: da-da-daaaaah!

I got my shipment of books. Must be 20 copies. That box is HEAVY!

This marks the point for me that I actually realize what I have done. What have I done?

Now I know… I can hold it in my hands. :)

    Congrats! I remember very well how that feels! :) A couple of years ago I produced some Photoshop tutorial DVDs for Data Becker and I was feeling sooo proud when I held the first real copy in my hand.

    So now the book named ‘Learn iPhone and iPad Cocos2D Game Development’ fully complete from your end it is available in Apress book store. I am from Bangldesh, I was waiting for this book from last 1.5 months. I hope this book will be pretty helpful for me, my team and as well all cocos2d game developer.

    But seriously, I’m really looking forward to reading it. It would help my cocos2d project i*m currently working on a great deal. Since I’m totally new to Obective-c and Cocos2d, development are going really slow :)

    P.S. keep a few. My dad didn’t keep more than one of his book and now it’s out of print and he’s buying used copies off of Amazon to give to his grandchildren! :-)

    Hey Steffen, congratulations! I wanna read your book NOW. I figured the fastest way is to get is as an e-book. I absolutely don’t want to read it on a computer screen, but Kindle seems pretty nice actually. The problem is that the latest Kindle has a looooong delivery time.

    Do you know if it’s possible to buy it as an ebook, order a Kindle, and put it in when the Kindle gets here? Or is e-book and Kindle two different products on amazon?

    I live in Sweden, and no Swedish bookshops has it in store. Any clues for me on how to get it quick? :)

    Thanks, and good luck with the sales, I think you’ll sell a lot, a very unique book right now. But in the next 6 months you’ll have some competition. So don’t wait too long for a 2nd edition :)

    • Hi Niclas, I think the Kindle version is a seperate purchase. The eBook on Apress’ website is in PDF format. I don’t know if the Kindle can read PDFs.

      I’ve been using my iPad and the GoodReader app to view PDFs, couldn’t be happier with it.

      Btw, it seems that the book hasn’t hit the stores yet. But since I got printed copies, I suppose they’re currently in distribution and should appear in stores soon. I don’t know how long it’ll take for them to be shipped to europe though, if they are shipped by ship then add another 2-3 weeks before the book appears in europe.

    I have bought yours ebook.It is a good book and cover some important aspects in cocos2d.
